If I had a bigger garage and more funds this would be a keeper, but only one bike at a time unfortunately and I'm needing an adventure bike fix.
The 5th generation VFRs deserve the hype - I had an 04 VTec and I much prefer this one. Lighter, simpler engine and the sweetest engine note, but still with fuel injection and linked brakes.
This had done just over 70km when I got it two years ago and I've used it mostly for touring. Always been properly maintained by the looks and kept basically original except for:
Comes with the original rear seat cowl, grab handles etc.
Has a fresh WOF (2/10/17) and Rego expires in November.
Just put a new Pilot Road 2 on the back this week for the WOF, and I have a matching front which will go with the bike (the front tyre looks like it might have a couple of thousand km left)
Recent work was a new battery about this time last year and recent service by MotorcycleLab in Whangarei including new tapered bearings in the steering head a few months back.
The engine runs like new even with 88k, and the bike itself is very tidy as per the pictures.
If someone wanted it without the racks and boxes I'd be willing keep them and negotiate a lower price.

- Rider custom seat (MacDonald Motor Trimmers in Tauranga)
- Brighter headlight bulb
