GSF 250 Bandit Throttle Cable Connection

Hi - Have just done the valve gaps, so had to take off the Carb and other bits - just getting back together now.
I went to connect the two throttle cables and have found the return cable is too tight, I'll try and post a picture, they worked ok before I removed them so I have missed something obvious - the Cables are connected and routed correctly.

Any suggestions on what to check?, anything really stupid I have done.
