A while ago I joined here, started with an mc17 cbr250r
Have had a few of em, sold up and bought a drz400sm, rode it for about a year, decided it wasn't me. Sold up, bought a yammy fz6r lams and put a fair whack of miles on it.
Finally passed my full license test, and now have a "real" bike
2013 triumph street triple R
My full license shortlist consisted of:
Daytona 675
Cbr600rr
R6
Street triple.
Found out very quickly that the crunched up seating position resulted in numb toes after about 10 mins riding, and total loss of feeling in feet and legs after about 30 mins on the 3 "sports" bikes, so I pulled the trigger on the street triple.
So far, loving it. Sounds phenominal, rides really nicely, very happy with the purchase.
Going to be spending some money with restorace motorcycles to get the suspension set up nicely for me, the bike has been well maintained but there's no documentation for it, so I'm probably going to have to rebuild / replace oil in the front shocks.
Saving money for a noisy exhaust, and I know it'll need the arrow exhaust tune flashed on to it.
Anyone got hookups for the tune? Or a "race bike" tune for the triple? Also, does anyone have an arrow muffler for the newer 675 street triples they don't want?
