Hi there.
This is the famous 'Twisting Throttle' VStrom that used to belong to Mike Hyde.
He rode this bike around Australia and the United States. Mike sadly left us a couple of years ago but his legacy lives on.
I have the bike, and have read his books, both witty and full of valuable information about Adventure riding....
Mike was a fantastic bloke!
was lucky to buy Mikes Vstrom a few years ago and wish to pass this on.
I have only ridden it back from the South Island and done a couple of short rides.
It is time to move it on and I do not want a huge amount for it, but as you can see there is an absolute load of spares and some fantastic luggage.

Mike was a fantastic character and this bike has had just the one owner - Mike, then myself.
I have done nothing to it other than purchased a new Motobatt, that's it!
The warrant and reg are on hold and if it gets a good offer I will happily put three months on it for the new owner.
