Palmerston North trail rides

I bought a tf125 to turn into a bucket but then got a fxr instead. So now I have a spare tf125... Was gonna sell it but I was wondering if there's anywhere round me I can ride it apart from the beach. It's not road legal.

Also what gear would jou recommend? Basic mx kit?
