Call for motorcyclists to stop 'lane splitting' overtaking after 10 riders die in Jan

Did you read the article in Stuff (Link below). Basically, because most bikers die in intersections, they want lane splitting to stop.
What are your thoughts?

Can anyone ID this brand so I can get a replacement?

Bit of a dick this mornign and dropped the GN, the brake lever snapped off so need to replace however its not a standard set up by the looks (was like this when I bought). Attached is a photo of the set up so wondering if anyone recognizes it so I can search for replacement parts, cheers

just be careful parking at the warehouse manukau, if you park anywhere but a car park you'll get a ticket for $60 --- regardless of how courteous you park :facepalm: ($60 for less than 5 mins park :violin: )


have tried to appeal it, will see how it goes, "Elite parking services" .....

next time will be a dickhead and park in a car park V_V

Reluctantly selling my bike... Looking to downgrade before going oversees.

Bike has around 43'xxx k. Solid bike that goes very quick. Aftermarket exhaust sets of car alarms and sounds awesome. Not a lams bike but very light and easy to ride. Small tear on the seat and some normal wear and tear elsewhere. Also has an alarm. I will throw in led rear brake light and indicator strip and a gear indicator I haven't had time to install.
