WTB WTB: Kawasaki KLX250 front forks

Hi, I'm looking for a set of front forks for a KLX250. These are upside down forks. The bike is a 2002 but I think the KLX250 models have the same upside down forks from about 2000 onwards. If I can't get the complete forks I'd like the top tubes from the forks - someone may have used the bottom tubes and have the top tubes hanging around. Cheers.

LED bulbs now banned

I've been putting LED headlight bulbs in my 1990's bikes for a few years, and really value the extra light output at night and the increase in daylight conspicuity. I was in at my local VTNZ getting a WOF in the weekend, and I was advised by the bike expert there (actually a genuinely nice, helpful guy) that as of 1 June this year, LED bulbs are now banned in all vehicles that were designed to use halogen bulbs. Apparently the extra brightness is a problem in reflectors/lenses that are not designed for LED. He also agreed that this was actually a benefit for invisible bikes, but then he also thinks louder (but not stupid loud) pipes are a safety feature.

He was kind enough to pass my bike with a warning for next time, but this now means that I will have to switch out my LEDs before WOF time. Don't tell anyone, but I will be putting them back in afterwards.

BMW 9Cento (concept) Build it please!

I like this. Will it make the production line? I hope. Coming from an early adopter of the F800S when it came out I would be tempted by this. The F800 lacked power for me, maybe another 100c will be enough to enjoy.

Unlike most concepts that are usually all style and won't work in the real world this could be a stylish, fun and practical bike all at the same time. Small enough to be a good commuter, light yet enough power (900cc parallel twin) to provide some excitement, enough weather protection to tour while still looking racy.

Not sure the handbag sized panniers will do much though. Still the idea of magnet attaching quick clip on panniers has merit.
Mind you, is it that far removed from my current MT-09, with it's small screen, hand guards and soft throw over bags, what's the difference?

The prototype in these picture, courtesy of Motorcycledaily.com, looks damn near complete and production level ready so just maybe.. And that seat looks so well padded it must be super comfy.
